Advisory council holds first hearing on Medicaid financial models for expensive therapies

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services this week convened the first meeting of an advisory council charged with proposing Medicaid financing models for expensive therapies that treat sickle cell disease, as well as other new high-cost drugs and treatments.
