March 22 – Preparing for the return of Medicaid redeterminations

For the first time since the early days of the pandemic, Illinois and other states will soon resume Medicaid redeterminations, a process to determine if an individual is eligible for medical coverage. State leaders and advocates are at work to ensure a smooth rollout for the process, which could impact hundreds of thousands of the state’s Medicaid recipients.
A panel of experts will join Health News Illinois on March 22 for live, virtual event to discuss preparations for the return of Medicaid redeterminations, how it may impact the state’s Medicaid program and what more needs to be done to protect the state’s most vulnerable population.
