Damond Boatwright took the reins at Hospital Sisters Health System this summer, after leading SSM Health Wisconsin for nearly seven years.

Spanning two states, the Springfield-based health system has responded to COVID-19 on a number of different fronts, while facing workforce struggles, adapting to new technologies and addressing a number of other challenges impacting health systems across the country.

Boatwright will discuss his new role and outline what’s next for HSHS at a Health News Illinois virtual event on Thursday, Dec. 9.
