Like hospitals across the state, Sinai Health System halted elective procedures in March, and overturned its operations in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Now, the Chicago-area’s largest safety net system is ready to start opening back up.

CEO Karen Teitelbaum will describe her system’s restart plan, as well as the disproportionate impact the crisis has had on the communities it serves. She’ll also discuss the mounting pressures facing the Medicaid program as the pandemic continues.
