Ryan Voyles is the owner and editor of Health News Illinois. Before taking over the newsletter, he served as its lead reporter from February 2019 to February 2025. He previously covered Illinois politics for the Decatur Herald & Review and Lee Enterprises. He resides in Decatur with his wife, Laura.
