Illinois Supreme Court rules healthcare facilities had broad immunity during COVID-19 crisis
Nursing homes and other healthcare facilities were protected from ordinary negligence claims based on the broad immunity granted to them during Illinois’ response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ruled the state’s Supreme Court.
