Omnibus Medicaid package targets hospitals, MCO rates and children with special needs

Lawmakers advanced an omnibus Medicaid package Wednesday that provides bridge funding for the hospital assessment program, increases transparency around rate setting for managed care organizations and takes steps to protect children with complex needs.
