Court sides with Illinois, orders Trump administration to pay SNAP benefits out of contingency fund
A federal judge sided with Illinois and other Democratic states on Friday and ordered the U.S. Department of Agriculture to distribute money owed to recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program “as soon as possible.”
