Senate approves having doulas accompany Medicaid patients at hospitals, other healthcare bills
The Illinois Senate signed off on several healthcare bills last week, including one to allow Medicaid patients to have a certified doula accompany them to hospitals or birthing centers to provide support before, during and after labor and childbirth.
