Durbin calls on feds to reverse decision on local food purchases for schools, farmers

Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., recently joined over two dozen colleagues to urge the U.S. Department of Agriculture to reverse the cancellation of food purchase programs across the United States, in part because it could put the health and wellness of children at risk.
