Prime Healthcare enters agreement to buy most of Ascension Illinois’ assets
California-based Prime Healthcare said Thursday it entered an agreement to purchase a large chunk of Ascension Illinois’ assets, including nine hospitals, associated physician practices and post-acute and senior living facilities.
