Pritzker signs executive order boosting access to sickle cell disease treatments
Gov. JB Pritzker signed an executive order Monday tasking the Department of Healthcare and Family Services with creating Medicaid financing models for expensive therapies that treat sickle cell disease, as well as other new high-cost drugs and treatments.
