TASC taps five new board members; new board leadership

Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities (TASC), an Illinois leader in advancing community-based alternatives to incarceration for people with substance use and mental health needs, today announced the election of five new members to its Board of Directors, along with the election of its Board Officers for the coming year.

Jones, Chair of the TASC Board. “Their diverse expertise, dedication to social justice, and passion for helping communities will be invaluable assets as we continue to pursue our mission of promoting safety and well-being through evidence-based alternatives to incarceration.”

TASC President Joel K. Johnson also expressed his appreciation for the new board members and the leadership of the Board Officers.

“I am incredibly grateful for the commitment, dedication, and support of the TASC Board,” said Johnson. “Their support is essential to our ongoing success, and we are confident that with their guidance, TASC will continue to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and communities across the Illinois.”
