Hospital groups call on BCBSIL to withdraw Avalon Lab Program implementation
Two Illinois hospital groups have called on Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois to suspend and indefinitely discontinue its plan for a program the insurer said will help payers, physicians and consumers make better use of diagnostic laboratory tests.
