OSF PromptCare in Galesburg moves to new home

The OSF PromptCare in Galesburg, Illinois previously located at 3375 N. Seminary Street now has a new home at 695 N. Kellogg Street.

The space that was formerly an emergency department has been upgraded to serve patients in a new capacity and offers more space for providing urgent care services, including on-site lab and imaging.

OSF PromptCare sites are walk-in clinics designed to assess and treat minor illnesses and injuries when a patient’s primary care provider is unavailable. OSF PromptCare sites also offer lab and radiology services on-site.

“The decision to move this OSF PromptCare location to a new home was made with great discernment. The increase in space for our patients, service expansion and a location closer to the center of Galesburg, led us to this decision,” said Rhonda Wynkoop, RN, BSN, Vice President of Clinical Operations, OSF Medical Group Western Region. “Improving how we deliver care is essential, because the landscape of health care is constantly changing, and the improvements we are making in Galesburg allow us to better serve Galesburg and the surrounding communities.”

This OSF PromptCare clinic on Kellogg Street will open to the public on Saturday, September 10 and will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The previous location on the OSF St. Mary Medical Center main campus (3375 N. Seminary Street) will become the future home of a specialty department as OSF continues to recruit talent to serve the community.
