Lightfoot files complaint against police union over refusal to comply with city’s COVID-19 mandate
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said Friday the city has filed a complaint for injunctive relief against the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7 and its president, claiming that their anti-vaccination push and urging members not to comply with the city’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate amounted to encouraging a work stoppage or strike.
