IDPH reports 248 new COVID-19 cases
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 248 new COVID-19 cases Thursday and 18 more deaths.
The new cases bring the state’s total to 1,390,140 cases. The death toll is 23,191.
Just over 68 percent of eligible Illinoisans ages 12 and older have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Fifty-two percent are fully vaccinated.
Illinois vaccinators have administered 12,319,794 COVID-19 vaccines, per state data. The seven-day average of doses administered is 30,205.
