The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 10,573 cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the total to 498,560.
The state’s death toll is at 10,210 after 14 more deaths were reported on Monday.
The seven-day statewide positivity rate for cases as a percent of total tests is 11.4 percent, a 3.3 percent increase from last week. The preliminary seven-day statewide test positivity using the number of COVID-19 positive tests over total tests is 12.4 percent, a 2.7 percent increase from last week.
There were 64,760 more tests processed during the past day. A total of 8,469,064 tests have been processed.
As of Sunday night, 4,409 Illinoisans were in the hospital with COVID-19, an increase of 1,038 from last week. Of the patients in the hospital this week, 857 were in the ICU and 376 patients were on ventilators.
Thirty-three percent of Illinois’ 35,098 hospital beds were available as of Monday morning. Thirty-three percent of the state’s 3,777 ICU beds were available as were 73 percent of the state’s 5,731 ventilators.
