The Illinois Department of Public Health reported another 4,729 cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the total to 378,985.
The state’s death toll is at 9,522 after 17 more deaths were reported on Monday.
The seven-day statewide positivity rate for cases as a percent of total tests is 6.3 percent, a 0.9 percent increase from last week.
There were 57,264 more tests processed during the past day. A total of 7,326,216 tests have been processed.
As of Sunday night, 2,638 Illinoisans were in the hospital with COVID-19, an increase of 542 from last week. Of the patients in the hospital this week, 589 were in the ICU and 238 patients were on ventilators.
Thirty-six percent of Illinois’ 35,064 hospital beds were available as of Monday morning. Thirty-seven percent of the state’s 3,789 ICU beds were available as were 77 percent of the state’s 5,768 ventilators.
