Supreme Court orders stay in Clay County contempt hearing over Pritzker’s COVID-19 orders
The Illinois Supreme Court on Tuesday put a hold on a Clay County hearing scheduled for Friday that would have required Gov. JB Pritzker to appear in court to defend his executive orders related to the state’s COVID-19 response.
