Report: Communication issues led to greater health risk in last year’s Lake County chemical spill

Communication challenges between first responders and healthcare providers during last April’s chemical spill in Lake County led to greater exposure to the toxic gas, according to a report last week from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
