Report raises questions on CountyCare’s finances
Cook County Health's Medicaid health plan CountyCare is not generating enough revenue to pay its bills each year and an "extraordinary" infusion from another source may soon be needed, according to a report released Friday by the county's Inspector General Patrick Blanchard.
