Hospitals join Chicago business leaders in request for workweek ordinance exemption

The head of the state’s hospital association joined business leaders from across the Chicago area in asking to be exempted from a proposed ordinance requiring employers to schedule workers two weeks in advance and pay them for last-minute changes.
