State pushing forward managed care expansion for long-term care dual eligibles

The state is pushing forward with an expansion of Medicaid managed care for more than 27,000 members who are also eligible for Medicare and receiving long-term care supports in nursing homes or community-based settings. And it’s adding six more counties to an optional care coordination program for dual eligibles: Christian, Logan, Macon, Menard, Piatt and Sangamon.
