Lawmakers approve recreational marijuana, expanded medical cannabis program
After taking another step toward becoming the first state to legalize recreational marijuana use legislatively, Illinois lawmakers passed a bill this weekend that would expand who can access the state's medical cannabis program as well as make the program permanent.
