Plan to expand medical marijuana program not part of legalization effort

While he still hopes to push a plan to make the existing medical cannabis pilot program permanent, Rep. Bob Morgan, D-Deerfield, said Thursday his focus is on getting legislation legalizing recreational use of cannabis past the finish line.
