Legislators, comptroller push for greater transparency in managed care payments

Managed care organizations would be required to publish quarterly reports on their websites detailing provider payment information, under legislation unveiled last week by Sen. Laura Fine, D-Glenview, and Rep. David McSweeney, R-Barrington Hills - and spearheaded by Comptroller Susana Mendoza.
