Sinai to close Touhy Health Center, blaming changes in immigration policy
Sinai Health System is closing Touhy Health Center, which houses the system’s refugee screening and clinic programs, at the end of the year. The reason: Its patient base has plummeted as a result of changes in federal immigration policy.
