Decreased funding ‘absolutely a big deal,’ says lead navigator group

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced this week it’s slashing funding for the Affordable Care Act’s navigator program to $10 million. That’s down from $36 million last year. In Illinois, CMS is decreasing funding from $1.8 million to $400,000.
